You may recognize this “Mad-in-Love” couple from a post from last year, when Chad and I photographed their Mad Men themed engagement session at the Red Star. Last month, we ventured down to the Mount Vernon area to photograph their oh-so-lovely wedding at the George Peabody Library. We were completely taken aback by their creative Baltimore themed wedding decor and they threw such a fun celebration! Chad and I are truly honored to present to you… Shannon and Alex! (Congratulations, you two!)

Shannon and Alex arranged a “First Look,” and it went so beautifully! It’s so touching to witness the raw emotions of the couple, seeing each other for the first time… the happiness, the excitement of the soon-to-be ceremony, and exchanging thoughts with one another.

Six BEAUTIFUL stories of books… absolutely breathtaking!

Shannon and close family worked so hard to put together all of the DIY decor.
Take a look at these beautiful origami crane placeholders made with maps.

We were so excited to see this puzzle. Shannon and Alex took one of their favorite engagement photos and turned it into a wooden puzzle. Guests wrote with an archival pen on the back of a piece to share their thoughts or congratulate the couple on their nuptials!

Shannon individually crafted these table numbers by using pieces of broken records. They were shaped into numbers, then placed on a page of a book. The other side of the table numbers featured different vintage-styled postcards of Baltimore, Maryland architecture.
